One Voice
By John Curtis Phillips
(Contact: curtisac@pacbell.net)
We sit all alone
In a room full of people.
We dance all night long
Though the night is still young.
We haven't said a word,
But we know what we're thinking.
Our words are silent.
Our thoughts are still.
He thinks,
She thinks.
They say one word.
One word the same.
They have one voice.
