No Matter What
By Meghan Crisci
(Contact: SwtDreem7@aol.com)
Today's the day I miss you the most.
Today's the day I wish we were close.
Yet, tomorrow will come, and the same will be said.
No matter the time, place, or day,
I'll feel amost dead.
I feel half empty,
Not half full.
Because you're gone,
My life's completely dull.
The place in my heart that you'll always hold
Is more precious than any diamonds, money, or gold.
I'll never forget the way it felt when we first joined lips,
It felt as though my heart was doing a thousand flips.
Some say it's not worth it,
Others say it was lust,
But I know deep in my heart,
Our love was a must.
I'll always love you,
No matter the places I go or the people I meet,
The rate of my heart when you're around could never be beat.
You're everything in my world,
You're in my heart, mind, soul, and dreams,
No matter how many miles there are between.
