Mother

You lived away for many years,
But you helped me with my hopes and fears.
Sometimes it's hard to say goodbye,
If I say I'm OK it's usually a lie.
In my dreams I see the day,
That you left and went away.
I feel the pain, it's very real,
In due time it will heal.
