My Never-Ending Friend

A friend who has been there from the start.
Always willing to lend her heart.
She has always been there
To help me with the pain.
Why does she do this?
she has nothing to gain.
Many of times we have laughed and cried.
Through all the good times and bad,
Even when I wanted to run and hide,
She made me realize there was much I had.
Her loving heart and lending ear
Gave me strength and sheltered me from fear.
I don't know if she realizes how much she can do,
But if you haven't realized Jessie,
This friend is you.

Jessie, you have always been my forever best friend, and no matter what happens, you always will be. I love you much and thank you for all you have given me.
