Memorial
By June Simon
In memory of Michael Lightning
Passed on May 10, 1998, age 72
If tears could build a stairway
and heartaches make a lane,
we'd walk the path to Heaven
and bring you back again.
A heart of gold stopped beating
A shining smile at rest
God broke our hearts to prove
he only takes the best.
Our family chain is broken again
and nothing seems the same,
But God will call us one by one
and the chain will link again.
