Life's Little Truths
By Kimberlee Siegman

My fate is here.
It's suddenly clear:
To be in hell and live in fear.
Hiding in the shadows
From the HATE that lurks behind,
Hoping and praying
That one day happiness will be mine.
Crying in the dark,
Wondering when death will make its mark.
Wishing that someone was there,
Someone to hold me,
Someone to care.
But my fate is here,
So here I must stay,
Until that very death day.
