A Birthday Present For Mom
By Terri Pyatt
(Contact: Birdsrustybear@aol.com)

I didn't have a lot of money,
I couldn't buy you something expensive,
So I'm giving you something from my heart.

I just wanted you to know
just how much you mean to me.
No matter what I've done to mess up my life,
You're always there with open arms,
With understanding,
With a shoulder for me to cry on,
Or even a swift kick in the pants to get me motivated.

I know I don't always say it,
But I thank you from the bottom of my heart,
And I love you so very much.
I'm so lucky to have you as my Mom.

Happy Birthday!
