The Wrestling Mat
By Steve LoCicero
(Contact: stevelo16@hotmail.com)

When I'm on the wrestling mat,
it's only me and him.
The crowd disappears.
It's time to begin.

As I get the take down
the period ends.
Preparing for the breakdown,
Adrenaline flows, he starts to bend.

I put in the geatine.
I thought it was the creatine.

In the third I feel great.
He starts to advance
only to enhance
the pain.
He was hit by a freight train.

I finished him in a double.
He was in trouble,
for I had got the win.
My next match will soon begin.
I will be on the wrestling mat once again.
