In memory of my stepfather, Arnold Ellis
February 1942 - August 1995
You were a very special man
Who once walked upon this land
Until God decided to take you away
Eternal life is where you'll stay.
You made my mom your wife
In a very special way you touched my life
You were once my step dad
And now I feel so sad
I walked in to find you
Laying there gray and blue
You had a massive heart attack
Now it is you that I lack
You were a man that meant so much
For so many lives you have touched
I knew that mine was only one
Even though I was only one
I love you in that father way
Even though I never got to say
The way I feel is true
Now I'm saying....
I love you
