In loving memory of Nala,
you were my best friend.
May you now rest in peace.
I couldn't cry while we buried you,
So I kept my tears inside.
I've locked out the world
In my heart and mind.
The TV is a blur,
Which I cannot see.
My soul hurts and aches
and I want to die.
I know you wouldn't want that,
So I'll stand here and cry.
I just wish you were here
To Wash Away My Tears
