Nature's Essence
By Tiffany Gamache
(Contact: rgamache1@adelphia.net)

The sun sets
Falling far below the horizon
The pale moon fills the night sky
Stars come out of hiding
So bright
So beautiful
Like angels watching our every move
A cool mist settles upon the deep blue sea
Sand swarms around like powder
Waves roll in just far enough to touch the dry land
They tumble back out just as gracefully
The enchanting darkness seems almost eternal
The night is alive
It grows with every movement, every whisper, every echo
And only continues to grow as the sun begins to rise
Beaming its radiant light
Waving good-bye to the night
Bringing out the morning once again
