Mind
By Diana Pugh
(Contact: dee-deebug@juno.com)

Can I tell you everything that is on my mind?
Listen to my words...it may be worth the find.
As I peer through my hands for a glimpse of your eyes,
I want you to know all the feelings inside.
My heart has welcomed you without my consent.
All that is you...owns me...from your sight, your touch, your scent.
I warmly cradle the few moments we’ve made...
Yet you are in your own world, watching me fade...
But that doesn't matter.
If I lose a portion of my heart to you now,
I am thankful for Love and that I learned how.
Do you hear my words? Do you see my face?
Now, was it worth the find...
To hear what was on my mind?
