You appeared in town as if from thin air
Like an angel sent from above.
People could read it in my glowing face,
They could tell I was in love.
Never had I believed in love at first sight
Until that moment I met you
Finally, I had found my shining "Knight"
And you, your "Curly Sue."
Your eyes gleamed an ocean of blue
And your smile beamed like the sun,
With only our simple introduction,
My heart you had just won.
Fireworks would shower around us
When you would hold me in your arms.
You'd captivate me with your adventures
Told with your charismatic charm.
We would sail down the river
Envisioning our voyages on the sea.
Those moments with you stood as the greatest
Of my times ever to be.
As quickly as you entered my life
You were taken without a trace.
Oh, what I wouldn't give
To hear your voice one time,
Or to again see your face.
Now home feels foreign without you,
"The Dream" only lives in my memory.
Dean, I love you and miss you endlessly,
You will always be "So Real" to me.
