Villanelle
By Marco A. Garcia
(Contact: bigquitos@hotmail.com)

I watch the waves as they crash amongst each other,
Just like the times when I used to be with you,
I never had the thought of being with another.

When I want to call you, I wonder should I bother,
Because maybe you have better things to do,
When I watched the waves crash amongst each other.

I try to remember the lessons from mother and father,
On how to keep a Love so true,
I never had the thought of being with another.

I listen to my homie like my brother,
Because he went through the same things too.
I watch the waves as they crashed amongst each other,
When I never had the thought of being with another...
But You.
