The Place

A place of hope and peace
A place comfortable to me
A place I'd rather be
Instead of reality

A place out of this world
A place where colors swirl
A place I go to see
When something happens to bother me

A place not like the rest
A place not clean, nor a mess
A place my friends can call
Where vacancy is never full

A place full of surprise
A place of great disguise
A place high up above
Filled with endless love

A place to be all day
A place that's on the way
A place where dreams are made
And they never fade

A place where I can fall asleep
A place where I can scream
or sit without a peep
A place I feel I'll go to soon
This place is called my room
