Crazy Evil Plan
By Mary Dougherty
(Contact: myalea@webtv.net)

In a dream of moonlit,
sensuous tunes,
foamy waves crushing the fragile dunes,
toes in the sand,
wind in my hair,
scent of magnolia kissing the air,
gentle hands caress my face,
parted lips I could almost taste,
hair as dark as the midnight sea,
body strong as grandmother's tea.
Surreal moments in the night,
pulling me close,
holding me tight.
Never before in my yesterdays' dreams,
Intensity of love,
ten fold it seems.
But just as quickly as it all began,
like some sort of crazy evil plan,
reality forced,
conscious fight,
wish I could remember
what I dreamed last night
