It happened June 11th from West Carson Street
When I got the call I was numb from head to feet
They told me you went to a better place
If only you could have seen the expression on my face
When I got to the place where they rested yor soul
I cried my eyes out and created a pool
From here on out things couldn't get worse
I reached in and grabbed a tissue from my purse
Wiping the tears away from my face
Maybe it's good that you're in a better place
