Silent Tears

These silent tears
Fall
Down the sides of my cheek
I wipe them
Away
But more come to
Take
Their places
Trying to fill the
Void
That stays so
Alone
And that’s where my
Reasons
I cry are
Trying to take hold of
Me
But I hold them
Back
Using all my strength to
Pretend.
