It starts with a kiss
that sets off a fireworks show
like no show ever seen
on the 4th of July,
set off in your belly
and bursting in your heart
in the nascent glow of
possibility,
her eyes sparkle as if stars
grasped from the summer night
were placed there in,
her smile as enthralling
as the sparkling excitement
being shared by all,
your show, shared only with yourself,
causes you to lose interest in the
bursting night air,
for no show can compare
to the thunderous show
commencing in your heart
tonight.
