To My Daughter, Jacquelyn

A mother holds her child in her heart
No matter how grown up she becomes,
She never stops caring and worrying
Though at times she must bite her tongue.
Finally you'll understand this feeling
With your own precious baby girl,
And at last it will be clear to you
Why I still think of you as "My little girl."
