In loving memory of Darci Joy Linn
February 07, 1989 - June 10, 2002
It has been four months,
Since that fateful day,
When a precious girl lost her life,
On that cloudy, rainy day.
Although we were not best friends,
I knew her very well.
Her death was sudden and silent,
That day that she fell.
Her presence is known,
Kept by all her friends.
That smiling little face,
That never ends.
At first I didn't get it.
She was so young, so small.
But her one little life,
Sure did change us all.
For the 2 days left of school,
All you heard were tears,
If it was silent,
That would only bring fears.
Such a wonderful girl,
Such a life to take.
Such a loss to us,
The bond that God did break.
